    Yes, participants are paid according to U.S. wage laws. The hourly pay rate generally ranges from $12 to $17, depending on the job type and location.
  • Will I need a visa to participate?+
    Yes, a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa is required to participate in the program. Global Friends Agency will assist you throughout the visa application process. While we ensure accurate and timely processing, visa approval is not guaranteed as it depends on individual circumstances.

    Yes, students who continue to meet the eligibility criteria can participate in the program multiple times. Each year, you must reapply and fulfill all program requirements.

    Accommodation options vary by employer. Some employers offer housing directly, while others assist in finding suitable accommodations. Typically, housing costs range from $100 to $200 per week, which is usually deducted from your paycheck.

    The program costs include a program fee of $3,250, a visa application fee of $185, airfare (approximately $1,200), and personal expenses (around $1,000). Some employers may offer subsidized housing and meals, which can help reduce costs.

    Global Friends Agency provides 24/7 support for all participants. This includes assistance with job placements, emergency support, cultural orientation sessions, and ongoing guidance throughout your stay in the U.S.

    The program fee includes job placement, premium medical insurance, DS-2019 Form and FedEx fees, SEVIS fee, sponsor service fees, and local agency service fees. Additionally, participants receive program orientation in Tashkent, visa preparation, and branded gifts like water bottles, tote bags, and an American SIM card.
